Muni Arko Minawi calls on his government and the international community to withdraw mercenaries from Libyan territory.

Khartoum, The head of the Sudan Liberation Movement Muni Arko Minawi has called on the Sudanese government and the international community to work together to seriously expel mercenaries and any Sudanese forces inside Libyan territory.

In statements published on the Darfour 24 website, Minawi denied the presence of any forces affiliated with his “Sudan Liberation Movement” in Libya, stressing that all his forces are present in Darfur.

While the United Nations estimated in its latest report that the number of mercenaries in Libya around 20,000, the Darfur 24 website said that Sudanese factions have been involved in the Libyan conflict for years.
