Mauritania Hopes for Holding Libyan Elections in Good Conditions.

New York, Mauritanian Foreign Minister Ismael Weld Al Sheikh Ahmed said his country hoped that Libyan elections slated for Dec. 24 would be held in good conditions.

In an intervention at a meeting on political developments in Libya held here on Friday on the sidelines of UN General Assembly meeting, the Mauritanian Minister said that his government praised the Geneva agreement right after it was signed.

‘Mauritania is interested in what’s happening in Libya especially in regard to the ceasefire, He added.
