Libyan and Tunisian News Agencies discuss enhancing bilateral cooperation in areas of news exchange and training

Tunis -General editor-in-chief of the Libyan News Agency, Mustafa Azaiz, discussed with assistant director general of the editorial office of the Tunis Africa News Agency ,Mohamed Al-Hamdani, enhancing bilateral cooperation between the two news agencies the two brotherly countries in areas of news exchanges, organizing joint professional courses, and benefiting from practical experiences.

The meeting which was held at the headquarters of the Tunis Africa News Agency in Tunis, discussed the agreement signed between the two agencies earlier, and discussing its articles and possibility of activating it, adding amendments that are in line with the variables that contribute to expanding areas of cooperation between the two agencies, and signing it again at a date to be agreed by the officials of the two agencies.

Al-Hamdani called to implement a joint plan between the technicians of the two agencies, in principle, to enable the workers ,in the first stage, to view the daily broadcasts of the two agencies and benefit from the published news, especially the local ones, as was done with the Algerian News Agency, noting that the Tunis Africa Agency has recently suffered from high prices of subscriptions with some foreign agencies and dissolution of partnership with some of them.

For his part Azaiz stressed the Importance of making the results of this meeting practically during upcoming period, and expanding communication, especially in areas of training and qualification, and benefiting from the common experiences in the two agencies.
