Tripoli, In long-awaited historical moment and in a national scene that Libyans have dreamed of for a decade, the Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity “Abdul Hamid Al Dbeiba opened today, Thursday, in Tripoli, the bride of the Mediterranean, proceeds of the International Ministerial Conference to support stability in Libya, with high-level regional and international participation, as the first conference to be held in the homeland with a Libyan agenda and plan, and thus inaugurate the foundations for the return of the Libyan sovereign decision internally, after it was for many years formulated in foreign capitals with foreign agendas away from the interests of Libya and its people.

In his opening speech to the conference, Prime Minister Abdel Hamid Al Dbeiba was keen to send many messages to both inside and outside the country, the first of which is that the capital, Tripoli, enjoys security and stability, and that it has regained its health and symbolism as the capital of all Libyans adhering to peace, and that the phase of construction and stability has begun in Libya.

In his speech, Dabaiba affirmed his government’s commitment to work on organizing the elections on the set date, its commitment to provide all support to all institutions related to the electoral process, and its commitment to raise awareness of the importance of elections as the only way to enable Libyans to complete building a civilian state.

Al-Dabaiba reviewed what his government had accomplished in strengthening the capacity of the local authorities represented in the municipalities and addressing the economic and development conditions in the country, as well as in the important files related to providing direct services to the citizens, including solving the electricity problem, providing vaccines against the Corona virus, and raising the value of employee salaries in some sectors.
