Head Of Government Of National Unity Addresses Pressing Issues On ‘President Answers’ TV Program.

Tripoli, Head of the Government of National Unity Abdul Hamid Al Dbeiba said Libya should exploit its oil resources to serve development purposes before the world can do without oil.

Speaking on ‘President Answers’ program on television, Al Dbeiba said Libya’s oil production has to be upgraded to reach 4 or 5 million barrels a day, indicating that Libya has allocated 48% of the overall development budget to the oil sector.

Answering a question about the deep electricity problem which has caused long hours of power outage Al Dbeiba said ‘we have contracted a Moroccan company to import 47 million Euros worth of spare parts after ascertaining their documents.

As for approving the state budget Al Dbeiba said he would be visiting Tobruk tomorrow, and that he expected the budget to be ratified by the House of Representatives on Monday.

This year’s budget is smaller than those approved in the last years, we call on the House of Representatives to accelerate the approval of the budget, Al dbeiba said.

‘We seek to release the wives and children bonus into the bank accounts of the citizens before the Feast of Sacrifice, he said.

As for restructuring of diplomatic work, Al Dbeiba said ‘we work on restoring the prestige of Libyan embassies amid the prevailing chaos.
