Graduation of first batch of Illegal Immigration Service personnel.

The graduation ceremony of the first batch of members of the Anti-Illegal Immigration Service was held, in the presence of GNU Minister of Interior, Khaled Mazen, Minister of Social Affairs, Wafaa Al-Kilani and a number of heads and directors of security services.

In a speech he delivered on the occasion, Mazen praised the supervisors of this course and the efforts they made to inject new blood into the security establishment and to create highly qualified professional police cadres in security work, praising the efforts made by the supervisors of this course.

Mazen stressed that the Ministry of Interior pays great attention to training programmes and works according to a strategic plan to build the capabilities of its members in all its security components to enhance the level of performance and build security personnel capable of performing their duties and tasks to the fullest extent to achieve the goals and aspirations of the ministry.

The ceremony included parade by graduates’ cadres, and certificates were awarded to the first graduate students. The Immigration Control Agency’s shield was awarded by the head of the agency to the Minister of Interior, in return for the efforts he made in making this course a success, as well as awarding the agency’s shield to the Minister of Social Affairs.
