Tripoli-The Minister of Oil and Gas, Mohamed M’hamed Aoun, discussed with a delegation of notables and elders of the southern region problems and challenges faced by the regions and cities of southern Libya in various sectors.

Aoun stressed during the meeting, which was held at the Ministry’s office in the capital Tripoli that the Ministry of Oil and Gas represents all Libyans in supervising the oil and gas sector, according to what was published by the Ministry’s official SMS page.

He pointed out that the ministry will do everything in its power and as authorized by the laws in force to provide assistance, especially to the areas adjacent to oil fields and sites.

During the meeting, Aoun gave an overview of the history of the oil and gas sector, the role of the ministry and its relationship with the corporation and other ministries and institutions in the Libyan state.
