Tripoli-French Ambassador to Libya, Al Mustafa Maharaj, reiterated his country’s support for the political settlement efforts in Libya, to reach the consensus required to complete the constitutional base and electoral laws to move forward towards the electoral entitlement.

This came during a meeting held by Maharaj on Saturday with the Second Vice President of the High Council of State Omar Boushah at the Council’s headquarters in the capital, Tripoli. The two sides discussed political developments, including the latest developments in the constitutional basis issue and what has been achieved and voted on by the High Council of Stat.
