Chargé d’Affaires of the Indonesian Embassy: We look forward to strengthening health cooperation with Libya

Tripoli- The Chargé d’Affaires of the Indonesian Embassy to Libya, Didi Rifai, said that his country is looking forward to strengthening cooperation with Libya in the field of health.

This came during a meeting between the Deputy Prime Minister and Acting Minister of Health, Ramadan Abu Jinah, with the Indonesian Chargé d’Affairs, this morning, Sunday, at the ministry’s office in Tripoli.

The meeting discussed ways to provide health support to migrants in Libya and provide them with medicines, in addition to bringing in Indonesian medical personnel to raise the efficiency of hospitals located in remote areas.

Abu Jinah confirmed that the Libyan Ministry of Health welcomes Indonesia’s cooperation in the health aspect, in accordance with the procedures and laws in force in Libya.

On the other hand, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Public Authority for Investment Promotion and Privatization Affairs, Jamal Al-Lamushi, who attended the meeting, stated that Libya wishes to enhance cooperation with the State of Indonesia in 20 projects and to discuss this matter through a joint technical team.
