(Al-Haddad) praises the efforts of the employees of the Military Engineering Department in removing mines, booby-traps and remnants of war.

Tripoli, The Chief of the General Staff of the Libyan Army, Lieutenant-General “Mohamed Al-Haddad”, praised the efforts made by the employees of the Military Engineering Department in removing mines, booby-traps and remnants of war.

This came in a speech during his honoring of the Director of the Military Engineering Department, Major General Jamal Shlebek, the Director of Operations in the Military Engineering Department, Brigadier General Abdul Razzaq Idris, and a number of the department’s employees, according to what was published by the official page of the Chief of Staff.

Al-Haddad – during the honoring ceremony, which was attended by the Secretary-General of the Presidency of the General Staff, Major General “Mahmoud bin Yaza” and the Director of the Planning Department, Brigadier Majdi Malhas – considered these efforts a source of pride for all members of the Libyan army.

The Chief of the General Staff also honored the former Director of the General Staff Office, Brigadier “Kamal Al-Akhdar”, for what he had done in the previous period in the service of the military institution with all loyalty and sincerity.
