Tripoli- Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid al-Dbaiba, has granted Ministry of Health an exemption to conclude contracts for use of part-time workers, including medical and paramedical personnel.

According to a circular signed by the Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, Adel Jumaa, addressed to Ministry of Health, the exemption stipulates that these contracts be within the limits of the actual needs of hospitals and specialized centers, and through the financial allocations already approved for the ministry.

The ministry reported on its Facebook account, “This exemption the Circular of the Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity No. 6 / 2022 regarding rationalizing spending in public sector, and taking a package of measures, including not renewing contracts of part-timers, whatever the nature of their work is, as of January 1.”
