The Presidential Council Follows Up With Al-Sayeh The Extent Of The High Electoral Commission’s Readiness To Hold The Next Elections On Time.

Tripoli, (LANA) - The new presidential council followed up with the head of the High National Elections Commission, Emad Al-Sayeh, the extent of the commission's readiness to hold the next elections on the scheduled date of next December 24th.

The Chairperson of the Commission, Emad Al-Sayeh, briefed the Presidency Council on the most important challenges and difficulties that the Commission faces and ways to address them in order to reach this election.

During this meeting, which was held yesterday at the Council’s headquarters in the capital Tripoli, Al-Sayeh stressed the possibility of holding this election on time, if the necessary legislation is available for it.

In turn, the President of the Presidential Council, "Muhammad Al-Mnifi" and his two deputies, "Muhammad Al-Lafi" and "Musa Al-Koni" affirmed their eagerness to provide all necessary support to the commission to carry out its tasks to the fullest.
