Tripoli, President Fayez Al Sarraj met Tuesday with President of High State Council, and first deputy of the HSC, Naji Mukhtar. The meeting covered political and economic developments in the country. The meeting also focused on economic reform plan expected to be implemented soon. The reforms are designed to support stability and lift hardship of the Libyans in coordination with the Central Bank of Libya and other relevant institutions. The two sides stressed the need to unify state institutions in the region and measures taken by GNA to address bottlenecks faced by public utilities based on public priorities. They also agreed on the importance of respecting the democratic approach and conducting parallel presidential and parliamentary elections based on sound constitutional bases.
