LIBYA, KOREA DISCUSS BILATERAL CO-OPERATION

TRIPOLI, The Ambassador of the Republic of Korea (ROK), Choi Sung-Soo, met with the Foreign Affairs Minister of Libya's United Nations-backed government, Mohamed Sayala, in the Libyan capital, Tripoli, on Sunday.

According to the Foreign Ministry, the two discussed discussed bilateral relations and mutual co-operation, including the return of Korean companies to Libya to complete construction and power projects suspended since the 2011 uprising in Libya.

The meeting also discussed the participation of companies and investors from the ROK implementing new projects of housing, construction and energy in Libya, as well as reconstruction of cities affected by the war on terrorism, the ministry said.
