Rome, Italian Minister of Defense, Elizabetha Trinta intended to visit Libya in July. Aki news agency reported that the Italian official is to hold serious of meetings with Libyan officials on issues pertaining to ashes such as security, capacity building and fighting human trafficking. This is the second visit by an Italian senior official of the new government, following the brief visit last Monday by deputy prime minister and minister of interior, Mathieu Salvini. Italian minister of transport and infrastructure announced his country's intention to supply Libya with patrol boats to help Libyan coast guard for better coverage, carry out search and rescue of migrants on migration boats kicking off from Libyan coast.
